Well after 20+ years our Magic Chef bit the dust. We bought a new Frigidaire 30 " Gas Range and we love it so far. The oven heats up quickly and is accurate. The only downside to me is the broiler is electric versus gas.

I love the operation of the stove, but cleanup is difficult.Warm soap and water don't begin to do it for me. I have used cleaners that the store recommended and several natural cleaners.The knobs in front will not come off for cleaning behind them.I cut my hand and fingers deeply from a sharp edge above the control panel when I first cleaned the range.Some oil splashed out from deep frying a blooming onion. I cleaned the oil up immediately with paper towels, but it has made the burners stop working. I'm waiting for a repair person now. I know that part is on me, but I couldn't get the top off to clean more.I have learned to check out many details when I make my next purchase.

We're very happy with our new range. We weren't sure about the electric broiler since we had the in-oven gas broiler before. After using it, we feel it works better. We're also happy with the speed that the oven pre-heats which is much better than our previous ovens. The oven also evenly baked 5 loves of bread. So far, we're very happy with our purchase.

We purchased our home in June 2020. It was a new construction, and the stove was a brand-new model. That is 2.5 years ago. While we have not had issues up until yesterday, I joke every time the oven is on that the "Gates of Hell just opened" because it always makes this creepy noise of creaky gates opening. Last night as I was preparing dinner, I pressed the button to preheat the oven. 35 minutes later, it hadn't beeped yet that it had reached temp, and when I opened the door, it was still ice cold and nothing was happening. It said it was "heating" but alas nada. To add further disappointment, we researched and the stove only comes with a "limited 1 year" warranty. That is dog doo. Once upon a time, manufactures backed their products. Clearly this is not a thing anymore. An Oven should last more than 2.5 years. I will not be purchasing another Frigidaire appliance for anything. Your warranty is a joke.

Since this is my 1st gas stove, I didn't know what to expect. It does what's is suppose to. It is a very basic model however. Very few buttons with very few features. I hate that the buttons on gas stove are in front. It makes it difficult to have a microwave above it... especially when you are short & have to lean in to put things in/out the microwave.

My new Frigidaire gas range came through when I needed it most. My previous oven died during the Christmas holidays and I was stuck without an oven! Thankfully when my new Frigidaire arrived and was installed, it was so simple to use and instantly grilled, broiled and baked without any hassle of learning a new oven. The settings required no studying of the manual; just turn on and go!

This was a cost saving purchase for my condo which I intended to sell. Plans change and I will be staying here for a while and was needlessly concerned that it might not meet the demands of cooking 3 meals a day, meal prepping large quantities, etc. It has far exceeded my expectations. The quick boil burners and the level cook top that allows me to slide heavy, hot pots and pans without spills are my favorite features. Baking times are quick and items brown evenly. This stove is a great deal and meets the needs of the vast majority of cooks.
